Hours are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, with a daily closure from 12:00-1:00 p.m. The office handles court pleadings, fines and fees, subpoenas, notices, trial and hearing schedules, passports, evictions, and multiple record divisions including Criminal, Traffic, Juvenile, and Warrants.
The official Circuit Clerk page is the local fallback when the paid online portal is not enough. Written search or copy requests may use the Alabama court request form. Sealed records are not public, and the court site warns that clerk staff cannot give legal advice.

Charges, Convictions, and Expungement
Alabama public records rules and criminal procedure make careful wording important. An arrest record says a person was arrested or booked. A charge says an offense was alleged or filed. A conviction says the case ended with guilt by plea, verdict, or other adjudication. Under Alabama expungement law, some records can later be restricted after a court grants relief, but ALEA notes that courts, not ALEA, grant expungements.

Sealed and expunged records are also different. Sealing restricts public access to a record. Expungement under Alabama Code Title 15, Chapter 27 can remove or restrict eligible arrest and charge records after a court order. Juvenile court records and information are confidential under Alabama Code Section 12-15-133 except as allowed by law.

Limestone County Warrants and Diversion
